Biography

With over 15 years of experience dedicated to creating campaign videos exclusively for non-profit organizations, third sector entities, think-tanks, and research organizations, I have established a strong track record. Throughout my career, I have directed and produced more than 70 videos spanning a wide range of genres, including documentaries, explainers, drama, comedy sketches, animations, and motion graphics. Additionally, I have facilitated the production of user-generated content.

My expertise lies in collaborating with organizations campaigning on diverse issues, such as animal rights, healthcare, climate justice, environmentalism, land rights, and indigenous rights. Through this work, I have developed a profound understanding of and passion for exploring the interconnectedness of various challenges, including conflict and fragility, climate change, human rights, migration, colonialism, and international development.

I have worked in post-conflict regions, engaging with internally displaced people and individuals who have witnessed or experienced human rights abuses. This exposure has made me acutely aware of the risks associated with speaking out and the potential for the filmmaking process to evoke past traumas. As a result, I have honed the necessary skills to navigate access negotiations, establish trust across language barriers, and prioritize the safeguarding of contributors.

Leveraging the power of video, I effectively reach and influence diverse audiences, including policymakers, campaigners, civil society organizations in developing countries, healthcare professionals, CSR employees, investors, committed activists, donors, and supporters. My work has garnered recognition, having been featured on prominent media outlets such as Al Jazeera, Channel 4, Fox News, and The Guardian, as well as gaining significant traction online, with my most successful project having over 16 million views and many others being shared widely.

Furthermore, I possess a comprehensive skill set that enables me to oversee video projects from conceptualization to distribution. I have a well-established network of talented professionals, including producers, directors, writers, researchers, animators, illustrators, translators, and editors, whom I collaborate with when required.
